Dorothy Ellen Palmer Awarded Helen Henderson Literary Award!

Join us in congratulating Dorothy Ellen Palmer on her win of the Centre for Independent Living in Toronto’s Helen Henderson Literary Award. The award is given out annual to the author of an exceptional piece of writing that promotes awareness of a disability issue or barrier. For those of you who have read Dorothy’s memoir, Falling for Myself, you’ll recognize that this is award is well deserved!

Dorothy said she accepted it on behalf of all disabled writers and hoped "winning it will make it more possible for disabled writers to claim their space" as she has! Congratulations Dorothy!
