Join Ariel Gordon, author of Fungal: Foraging in the Urban Forest and Siteseeing: Writing nature & climate across the prairies, for a creative writing workshop.

This session will explore aspects of urban nature, with a particular focus on mushrooms and trees, people and community. Participants will read and discuss works on this topic, then work through a variety of earthy prompts. They will then spend time turning those observations into a poem or the beginnings of a story, which they might choose to share with the group.
