It’s a day to celebrate all our incredible local booksellers across the country, the ones who really know their stuff, who help you find the perfect read for yourself or a loved one. For those that do purchase books from an independent Canadian bookstore on April 24 or 25, the Canadian Independent Booksellers Association is holding a contest! Every book purchased earns you an entry and there are prizes for both young and old, including tea with Maureen Jennings, Indigenous language lessons and a classroom visit with Ruth Ohi.
