Author Appearances

  • September 15th, 2 pm Chris Pannell will be reading from Drive at the Stratford Public Library, ON.
  • September 16th, 7 pm Plynn Gutman launches The Work of Her Hands: A prairie woman's life in remembrances and recipes at McNally Robinson Grant Park, Winnipeg, MB.
  • Also on September 16th Naomi Beth Wakan will be reading from Book Ends as part of the Robson Reading Series in Vancouver, BC.
  • On September 21st at 4pm, join Plynn Gutman in her hometown of Brandon, Manitoba, for a reading from The Work of Her Hands at the public library (710 Rosser Avenue, Unit 1).
  • On the morning of September 23rd, tune into the Morning Show on AM1190 in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, for an interview with Plynn Gutman about The Work of Her Hands.
  • Then, on the evening of September 23rd, join Plynn Gutman for a reading from The Work of Her Hands at the Weyburn Public Library (45 Bison Ave) at 7pm.
  • September 23rd Catherine Owen will be reading at the Niagara Artists Centre (354 Saint Paul Street, St Catharines,ON) at 7 pm. This is a free event, but donations are welcome to the organization.
  • September 24th Catherine Owen will be reading from Seeing Lessons as part of the Hearthside Hearings series. This is livestreamed and seating at the actual event is limited. Visit Grey Borders for full details.
  • September 26th Bren Simmers will be reading from Night Gears at Word on the Street Vancouver, BC.
  • September 27th Catherine Owen will be continuing an Ontario tour of Seeing Lessons with a reading at poetry'zoun live Port Hope, ON.
  • Naomi Beth Wakan will be the featured reader at Wordstorm at 7pm on Monday, September 27th. The Red Martini Grill, 75 Front Street, Nanaimo, BC V9R 5H9 (Cross Street: Front ST and Anchor WAY)
  • September 28th, join Plynn Gutman for a reading from The Work of Her Hands at McNally Robinson in Saskatoon, SK 7:30 pm.
